Lissie's riding habit

Is there a pattern available to make one of these? I've been wanting to make one in a different color, but haven't had any luck locating a pattern.

I mentioned in my avatar post that Frenchfry made me the blue one in my avatar, and I believe she has more, if you want a blue one, you can buy it from her! It is GORGEOUS.

You can get Lissie's patterns at ebay.
Pleasant CO. used to sell them but discontinued them ages ago. The still show up here and there, but a bit too pricey for me.
That is my excuse! The reality: I am a hopeless seamstress!

The patterns were always pricey -- $18 the first time they came out.

Unfortunately Felicity's patterns from Pleasant Co. do not include her riding habit, which was released later.

Fortunately, Joan Hinds published a riding habit pattern in her Fancyworks & Fashion newsletter. It has a rounded front on the peplum instead of squared off and you'd have to add the cuffs and change the front a little. But it's an outfit that was designed for Bonnie Blue Butler (Gone with the Wind) and I have enjoyed using the jacket pattern instead of the really nasty one that goes with Felicity's school outfit. So you can check out Joan Hinds' website and see if the newsletter is still available, as a starting point.

The newsletter with the riding habit is no longer available on her site which says "available while supplies last." I did send an email, so if I hear differently, I'll let everyone know.

To anyone who has both the AG Felicity pattern and Felicity's riding habit - Can the riding habit be made with Felicity's Christmas Dress pattern? Or from pieces from her school dress pattern? It seems like the riding habit can be made with some of Felicity's AG patterns with the addition of a peplum on the top.

Thanks. You gals are great help. I didn't know that Joan Hinds had a website-now another place to spend money!!
I may end up having to wait until Felicity's is re-released, buy it, and study from there. I do have the AG patterns, but don't have a riding habit to look at and compare. I'm at the mercy of pics online. It's hard to turn it over and look at the back and inside!!
But until the new items are available, I'm still hunting.
